SoundCloud Brings Go+ to Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland

SoundCloud is launching its ad-free subscription tier in a (even more) global capacity.

SoundCloud is launching its ad-free subscription tier in a (even more) global capacity. The open audio platform announced on Tuesday (June 4) that SoundCloud Go+ would now be offered in Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. For €9.99 (approximately $11), subscribers in those countries can access over 200 million original tracks, DJ sets, remixes and more from 20 million creators offline with no advertising.

“SoundCloud is the first place listeners go to discover what’s next in music, and directly connect with the vibrant community of creators, curators and fellow listeners who are powering the platform,” said Anthony Gabriele, senior vp subscriptions & marketing, SoundCloud, in a statement. “SoundCloud Go+ unlocks access to SoundCloud’s full catalog and allows fans to take their music anywhere, anytime, while financially supporting the more than 20 million creators who are building and growing their careers on the platform.”

Subscribers in those markets to SoundCloud Pro Unlimited, the Berlin-based platform’s creator-focused premium service, can add a SoundCloud Go+ subscription for half the price. They can also access SoundCloud’s recently announced integrations with DJ software companies Serato, Pioneer DJ, Native Instruments and more.

And in March, the streaming service added a host of playlists curated by tastemakers and music journalists including Philip Sherburne and Mark Richardson, currently and formerly of Pitchfork, respectively.
