Milk & Honey Management expands into UK with opening of new London office

LA-born artist-songwriter-producer management company Milk & Honey is expanding into the UK with the opening of a new office in London.

Lucas Keller, Founder and President of Milk & Honey Management has announced the hiring of Ant Hippsley as Head of Milk & Honey’s new UK office.

Keller founded Milk & Honey six years ago and has since opened offices in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville and now London.

The company’s clients have collectively sold over 400 million records worldwide.

Ant Hippsley comes to Milk & Honey after working at several other companies including Big Life Management, Spilt Milk Management and Bucks Music Group.

As Head of Milk & Honey’s London office Ant will be bringing in his existing business of producers, writers and mixers and will represent the company’s 55 client roster in the West for the UK and Europe.

The first signings with the opening of Milk & Honey UK are singer/songwriter Andrew Jackson who has worked with Dua Lipa, Eminem, Kygo, Alicia Keys and Hailee Steinfeld.

Milk & Honey Management has also signed M22, the British-German DJ and producer duo consisting of Matt James and Frank Sanders.

The company had already had a run of success in the UK working with writers like Jamie Hartman and Neil Ormandy, and Oliver Heldens – in addition to their other US-based clients David Hodges, Oak Felder, Sir Nolan, Charlie Handsome, Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo, Rich Costey and more.

Songs like Rag n Bone Man’s Human, James Arthur’s Say You Won’t Let Go, Calvin Harris and Rag N Bone Man’s Giant, Lewis Capaldi’s Hold Me While You Wait, Galantis’s Hook N Sling’s Love On Me, Oliver Heldens and Ritton’s Turn Me On, Sam Fender’s Hypersonic Missiles album, Muse’s Simulation Theory album, Rita Ora’s Anywhere, Celeste’s Strange and other UK hit records all came from Milk & Honey’s clients.

“We can bring something special to clients in the London market by really providing access and leverage in every major music market.”

Lucas Keller

Keller said: “I’m excited to bring Milk & Honey to the UK, and continue the great work our US team is doing for writers and producers and our global DJ business.

“Ant will be one of a variety of hires for M&H and I look forward to not only better servicing our American clients in London, but also representing more UK and European based talent with an eye at working them aggressively in the Los Angeles pop and urban market as well.

“Ant shares the same vision of growing Milk & Honey into the top shop in town for songwriters. It was always a dream to make Milk & Honey a global music company, and today that becomes a reality.”

Added Keller: “We view management of songwriters differently than many folks do. A great writer in London can also have hits in places like Los Angeles, and Nashville and the opposite as well — it’s a major priority to work our writers on a global level.

“Being a smaller staffed and more nimble management company, we can easily deliver on this promise to songwriters.

“We can bring something special to clients in the London market by really providing access and leverage in every major music market.”

“I have always been inspired by the company’s ethos and vision and look forward to helping establish it further here in the UK.”
