Summer Camp badge prices €35 for two days of learning and two night time parties

IMS College – Malta, a uniquely curated educational initiative aimed at emerging electronic music professionals and future industry visionaries has now revealed its final schedule for 2019, bringing together a powerful collection of leading electronic music experts and artists to educate the next generation with their experience and knowledge.

By day attendees will experience two full days of interactive workshops, inspiring keynotes, one-on-one coaching and learning sessions covering four key pillars of music education: Performance, Production, Promotion and Publishing. Hosted by journalist, broadcaster and DJ Jaguar, the two-days of learning are designed to help nurture and boost the careers of emerging electronic music industry professionals and creatives. By night attendees will network with industry leaders and experience specially curated parties and events showcasing the best in international electronic music talent.

Day one of the summer camp on Friday 13th September, will see a keynote interview with Armada Music A&R Phil Sagar, Boiler Room host Kikelomo from Berlin’s ‘No Shade’ will share her experiences in How to Build And Run a DJ Collective. In Crafting Music for Sync, Labels and Collaborations delegates will be shown how to work with a music publisher to take their income to the next level. Leading experts will share their knowledge on how to define, develop and communicate a successful electronic music brand in The Art of Branding: Making An Impression in the Music Industry. Also on day one, a track deconstruction masterclass of ‘Pacer’ by Malta’s Carl Bee, a Music Creation and Mixing Using Pro Tools masterclass and a production masterclass with Marco Faraone hosted by Point Blank Music School. Day one will close with a feedback session with Armada Music, giving delegates the chance to receive advice from the labels A&R team.

Saturday 14th September presents day two of IMS College - Malta, opening with a workshop on Beatport LINK featuring Brazilian artist Joyce Muniz, followed by Survive and Thrive in the Music Industry, a discussion presented by the Association for Electronic Music and ARETÉ designed to help delegates develop a positive mindset and equip them with the tools they need to sustain a long and healthy career in the music industry. Creative Director of elrow, Jo Vidler, will reveal what inspires her and will lift the lid on the production secrets behind one of the most visionary shows in electronic music today, followed by a workshop on Vocal Recording Techniques for House Music presented by Berklee College of Music. DJ Growth Lab founder Danny Savage will explain how to build a tribe of genuine fans who love your music and engage with your content in Building a Fan Funnel plus Maren Brombeiss, manager of Sasha, Benjamin Damage and James Zabiela, will take delegates through all they need to know when finding and securing a management deal in Everything You Need To Know To Get A Manager. The day will close with a rare keynote interview and Q&A with Grammy-nominated DJ and Producer Nic Fancuilli, the much loved UK talent and his long-term manager will discuss their journey through the industry, how Nic became a household name in his early twenties, his recent album release and his new Ibiza residency, Dance or Die.

Delegates will also be able to benefit from a number of one-on-one sessions designed to help take their electronic music career to the next level:

· An EPK feedback session with renowned dance music photographer Luke Curtis who will also shoot new promotional headshots for delegates

· A bespoke branding review, offering advice on how to boost your chances of being noticed by the pros and how to connect with your audience at a deeper level

· Thirty minute Production Clinic with leading experts from Point Blank and DJ Growth Lab, providing tailored feedback and advice on your current music project.

Each day of IMS College - Malta is paired with official evening parties with world class DJ talent with some of the genres biggest names including Nic Fanciulli and Mambo Brothers playing at global party brand elrow’s second visit to the island, plus networking drinks hosted by DJ Growth Lab at Dragonara Casino.
