Esports music label Enter Records announces debut release ’The Chosen One’ from TheFatRat

Two months after announcing the groundbreaking partnership between the world’s largest esport company ESL and the world leader in music-based entertainment, Universal Music Group, the newly founded label Enter Records is proud to announce its first major signing and label release will come from the acclaimed electronic producer TheFatRat.
 
The German music producer is a perfect match for the label and recently released a Dota2 music pack, providing fresh sounds to the community on one of the most successful esport titles in the world. His music shares the ethos of the label, creating music for the gaming community.

In making the announcement, Christian ”TheFatRat” Buttner said, "The opportunity that Enter Records gives musicians like me to build a community and grow broader audience is amazing. I’m signing to Enter Records, as I believe in the idea of the platform and how music and gaming belong together.”
 
Since his first appearance during ESL One Cologne 2017, TheFatRat has grown to become one of the most celebrated acts in the business, growing his community to over 3.1 million subscribers on Youtube and over 350,000 followers on Spotify.

“The live performance of TheFatRat at ESL One Hamburg 2018 last week was an incredible experience for viewers both on-site and online,” said Bernhard Mogk, SVP Global Sales & Business Development at ESL. ”Music is a universal language and, like gaming, one of the key-pillars of pop-culture. Enter Records has been set up to listen to and support the gaming community and their creatives. Enter Records has already receieved over 700 tracks submitted via the company’s Submithub page and the community feedback has been amazing.
