Now this is how to do lockdown. Oh Wonder are a boy-girl duo who sing gloriously melodious alt-pop anthems called things such as Happy and Hallelujah and whose previous two albums have gone Top Ten and been streamed more than two billion times. Anthony West and Josephine Vander Gucht are also a couple, sharing an airy house that they renovated in southeast London, with a purpose-built recording studio at the bottom of the garden (“We’ve got a 40ft commute,” West says).

Chatting over Skype to these raven-haired hotties, dappled with spring sunshine on their sofa, affectionately teasing each other and playing with Margot, their adorable goldendoodle, it’s hard not to think: bastards!
