Lily Allen has joked that she’s aged “10 years in as many days” while in self-isolation with her two children.

The singer, 34, posted a rare photo of her and her daughters Marnie, 7, and Ethel, 8, on her Instagram account, saying she was “tired and scared,” but reminding people to be thankful for having a home to stay in.

“While we’re stuck inside for reasons beyond our control, it’s worth reminding ourselves that many families are driven FROM their homes, for a multitude of reasons, financial burdens, war, domestic violence, or even climate change,” she said.

“We are very lucky really.”

Allen shares Marnie and Ethel with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper, who she officially divorced from in January 2019, two years after their split.

She is currently dating Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 44, who she started seeing last summer.

Allen is not the only celebrity to be candid about their experience of lockdown.

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards told Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp during an Instagram Live that she misses her mother, who has underlying health problems.

“I miss my mum a lot, I’m a mummy’s girl,” she said. “I’m 26 but I’m like a 6 year old, so it’s really hard not being able to see her because she’s high risk, because she’s got slow Pneumonia… she has to be extra careful so I’m trying to stay away from her.”
