DICE launches DICE TV

DICE - the live music ticketing and discovery platform - announces the arrival of DICE TV.

If you’re fed up with following links, forgetting about shows and being inundated with new live streams, DICE TV is a better way for fans to discover and stream online events while supporting artists and creators to effectively move their live shows to fans’ homes.

DICE TV kicks off with a partnership with Trap Nation and Chill Nation who are producing  The Nations ‘Room Service 2020 Festival’. Taking place from Friday 24th April to Sunday 26th April, the digital music festival will feature performances from over a hundred acts, including A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Pink Sweats, Channel Tres, Lolo Zouaï, Zeds Dead, Hayden James, and more.

While, this weekend, fans will be treated to Beatport’s electronic 36-hour music marathon ‘ReConnect’. Starting at 8pm (GMT) on Friday 17th April, fans can donate exclusively through DICE in advance of the event. Acts include: Tiësto, Jack Back (David Guetta), Claptone, Bob Moses, Deborah De Luca, Sasha, Erick Morillo, Boys Noize, SOFI TUKKER and many more.

Introducing Personalised Live Streams

DICE TV connects fans to personalised live streams, ranging from streamed gigs, festivals and DJ sets, in addition to an array of online arts, culture and lifestyle events. Utilising DICE’s popular Discovery algorithm that learns what each fan loves, DICE TV will recommend upcoming shows specially for them.

Fans can buy tickets in seconds to shows they love. They can also make a donation, invite and share with friends, to support their favourite artists, venues, and shows.

Artists, venues, promoters and creators can use DICE TV to connect directly with fans, reach huge new audiences through Discovery, ticket their shows and grow their fanbase globally. When live events come back, they’ll be able to bring those who watched remotely together in real life.

Phil Hutcheon, DICE CEO said, “Our mission has always been to get people out more, but we can’t go out. However, artists have shown how important music and culture is to us all and they inspired us to adapt DICE to this new world. DICE is now truly global and can be accessed anywhere in the world.

The simplicity of DICE and the discovery algorithms have been fine tuned for remote shows and we’re bringing personalised events for fans.

This is a crucial moment for the live industry to develop a sustainable ecosystem that helps creators and artists thrive. This is just the start - we have a dedicated team on DICE TV and this will grow to be a long term solution for the industry.”

Founded in London in 2014, DICE has transformed how fans discover and buy tickets with the simple mission of getting fans out more. The app is highly personalised for each fan with a ‘Discover’ feature that combines algorithms with music streaming data, to learn what each fan loves and to recommend upcoming gigs and events just for them. DICE physically is live in the UK, U.S., France, Italy, Spain and Australia but now accessible globally through DICE TV.

The Nations is recognised as one of the leading dance curators and online music brands. Its network of YouTube music channels has amassed over 20 million subscribers and logged 5 billion views since its launch in 2012.

All proceeds from The Nations’ ‘Room Service 2020 Festival’ will go directly to charitable partners benefiting those affected by COVID-19, including Sweet Relief and Feeding America. The Nations previously worked with DICE on its previous festival, Digital Mirage, which has already raised more than $250,000 for Sweet Relief.
