Blue Raincoat Artists Partners with L Devine’s Management Major Influence

Blue Raincoat Artists have today announced a partnership with Major Influence managers Steve Milbourne and Teresa Raeburn who bring with them their diverse roster of artists, songwriters and producers which along with L Devine also includes The Wandering Hearts, Sunset Sons, Robin Howl and Okan amongst others.

L Devine, a huge pop song-writing talent signed to Warner Records has received acclaim from Radio 1, Beats 1, BBC Introducing and YouTube Music. She has had praise from the likes of Charli XCX who succinctly described her as “the motherfucking future” and provided backing vocals on the track Peer Pressure.

Recently, L Devine has led the charge of live streaming performances with her URL tour since the world health crisis made physical touring impossible. Since her debut track School Girls was released in 2017, she has followed with a series of EPs working with many of pop’s most exciting producers including Ali Payami and John Hill.

Steve founded Major Influence in 2015. He started his career at Kitchenware Records before joining Sony Music as Creative Director in 2006, creating award winning campaigns for artists such as AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Mark Ronson, Kasabian, Hurts and Editors.

Teresa began her career in the 90s at BMG in her native New Zealand, before moving to the UK in 2000 and joining Arista. Over the course of a decade at BMG and Sony Music she held various marketing and executive roles and worked with artists including Dido, Kasabian, Will Young and Kings of Leon. After a brief foray into film at Raindog Films, she joined Steve at Major Influence.

Steve and Teresa will operate under the Blue Raincoat Artists banner joining their roster with the likes of Cigarettes After Sex, Phoebe Bridgers and JS Ondara.

Steve Milbourne said "It's brilliant to be going into partnership with two actual personal heroes from the music industry. We've worked with Jeremy and Robin and the wider team including the brilliant Emma Kamen through the publishing arm for several years and their wealth of experience, independent spirit and refusal to commit to the norms of the industry really align with us. As our roster has grown and taken more of an international foothold it's great to be able to add more resource from the wider Blue Raincoat and Chrysalis team to our day to day operation"

Jeremy Lascelles and Robin Millar co-founders Blue Raincoat Chrysalis Group said (in perfect harmony) “We’ve worked with Steve and Teresa for the past four years in our capacity as The Wandering Hearts’ publisher. We know them to be smart thinking, hard working, highly committed and super effective managers - and great people. Really delighted to welcome them and their roster of artists to the Blue Raincoat family”
