Cream’s Scott Barton to Lead Live Nation’s New Electronic Division in U.K.

Live Nation has launched Electronic Nation, a new electronic music-focused division in the U.K.

Live Nation has launched Electronic Nation, a new electronic music-focused division in the U.K. Led by Scott Barton, managing director of LN’s Cream, Electronic Nation will be based in London and focus on expanding the company’s festival, tours and club offerings across the U.K.

At Cream, Barton handles the popular Creamfields festival in Daresbury, a four-day event active since 1998, along with the unique and portable 15,000-capacity festival super structure known as Steel Yard, which made its debut in Liverpool three years ago. Cream is also responsible for multiple tours and club shows across the country, and has worked with top artists including Marshmello, Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and Skrillex, among others.

Internationally, Creamfields has launched editions in Chile, Abu Dhabi, Ibiza, Malta, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Australia, Hong Kong, and multiple cities in China.
